Minda Schweizer is the Founder and Executive Director of Home for Refugees USA. She has a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California San Diego. Her interest in refugee resettlement began in 2015 while following media reports highlighting the plight of refugees. In 2016, while the Outreach Director at a church in Irvine, California, Minda began a church partnership with World Relief and led two church teams to help resettle two families, one from Iraq and one from Afghanistan. After witnessing the heartfelt impact the resettlement partnership had on both the two families and the volunteers involved, she founded Home for Refugees USA. She is also a pastor to refugees in the Presbyterian church.
